These seven improvised guitar and drone meditations were produced during a period spanning the autumn and winter of 2022/23.
Most of the guitar tracks were true "stream of consciousness" jams, mainly first takes, that have been left largely un-edited and intentionally maintain errors and glitches to preserve the free form intentions and the moment of performance.
The backing drone and chord progression tracks were pre-recorded and assembled with the inclusion of field recordings.
Ponderous, brooding, searching, and at times fragile.
These were imperfect journeys, in a leaky ship.
